The Garrison has four teams work their way through raiding content. This is an update of their progress so far.

The Muffins

"A healer! a healer! my kingdom for a healer!" was The Muffins slogan. However, having borrowed an extra healer, swapped some players around with their alts and performed a number of black magic rituals which allows furry warrior to heal, The Muffins bagged their first kill of Cataclysm. Magmaw in Blackwing Descent was close for a couple of short nights before finally going down last week. Omnotron Council is the next target, with some good progress on it already.

Team Grumpy

Yet more excellent progress from the Grumpiest team in The Garrison. Atramedes, Chimaeron and Ascendant Council were all killed over the last couple of weeks, leaving just the end bosses in each instance to go. Cho'gall is up next with some attempts planned this week.

Don's Johnson's

In the slight delay between updates, Don's team took down Maloriak in Blackwing Descent. With a few new people starting raiding in the guilld, The Johnson's are looking to flesh out their raiding schedule for yet more future sucessess to compete with the resurgent Team Grumpy.

Team Fluffy

Team Fluffy have been struggling on heroic bosses the last few weeks with some inconsistent performances. A 0.4% attempt on Heroic Chimaeron being the best thing to show. With tactics down, and just execution to worry about it's hoped that at least a couple of hard mode bosses will be going down before the might of the Fluffy Tide before too long.

Finally a Huzzahs to LoEG Pro for being the first guild on server to Level 25. While we were disappointed not to be in the running, it's good that an Alliance guild took it on a Horde-heavy server.

The Garrison has four teams working through 10 man content, and this is an update of their progress.

Don's Johnson's

The Guild sign-up team took down the Twin Dragons of Bastion of Twilight after a 0.7% attempt last week. The Johnson's will be moving on to the harder bosses for the remainder of the week with an aim of clearing one of the instances before 4.1 is released.

Team Fluffy

Two heroic kills since the last post with Halfus and Atramedes both being killed on their "hard" modes. Chimaeron proved to be more of a problem with some difficult transitions making Phase 2 impossible. However, these two kills pushed The Garrison into 1st place of Alliance raiding just ahead of Methods of Madness. With some luck, The Garrison will be competitive in Firelands come 4.2.

The Muffins

The Muffins needs healers! If you would like to join the team, have a look on our forums.

Team Grumpy

Unfortunately a lot of Team Grumpy had a life this week, leading to them missing a week of raiding. However, with Fluffy pushing ahead, it's expected that Grumpy's competitive edge will come to the fore and get them back in and killing bosses this week.

Team Backwards

While not a regular instance team, Team Backwards is a tale worth recounting. After an hour of wiping in heroic Stonecore, Backwards realised they had the boss tactics the wrong way around. Taking the innovative step of running out of AoE, they rapidly completed the instance and managed to contribute one of those moments that will be recounted around TG for a long while. "We were the very opposite of awesome" said one unnamed member. If you want to contribute a similar story to TG, see our recruitment forums.

The Garrison has four teams progressing through end game raid content. There are a number of healer spots available, so please check out the recruitment forum if you'd like to join TG.

Team Fluffy

As promised last week, Team Fluffy blew away Al'Akir gaining the guild access to the Dark Phoenix mount. Fluffy are now starting on Heroic encounters, with some promising Halfus attempts so far this week.

Team Grumpy

In an entirely intentional display of tanking and kiting skill, Team Grumpy achieved their first kill of Maloriak with the Aberrant Behaviour achievement. The team is continuing to make good progress through the game and threatens to catch up with Fluffy before long.

Don's Johnsons

A misplaced healer and too much laughing over the new name, meant that the guild sign-up team Don's Johnsons consolidated their position last week. However, they have already pushed on this week with shiny new loot and hope to kill a new boss on Monday.

The Muffins

The Muffins went whaling this week, killing the rare-elite white whale Mobus in Shimmering Expanse. While it has the unfortunate side-effect of the team insists that everyone calls them Ishmael, they are also looking for some additional healers to more consistently run raid content.

The Garrison has a number of 10 man teams working their way through the first tier of Cataclysm raiding. Here's an update of how they're doing.

Team Grumpy

After a maiden trip to Bastion of Twilight ended with two bosses down, including Halfus on the very first pull, Grumpy may be changing their name. With the initial few bosses down, Grumpy have their sights firmly set on additional bosses in BWD.

Team Fluffy

Everyone started getting their Dark Phoenix riding skills ready, after Fluffy killed Nefarian this week for the guild achievement. With only Al'Akir to go, Fluffy are confident we'll all have new mounts before too long.

The Muffins

An open sign-up team, The Muffins have been going since WotLK and have no signs of stopping now. Expecting more progress news from them soon.

Open Sign-Up

Despite the lack of a colourful name, the guild open-sign up team had a successful week killing Halfus and moving on to the Twin Dragons.

25 Man Raiding

With so many 10 man teams, 25 man raiding has been a second priority so far this expansion. However this didn't stop a 25 man sign-up run killing Algorlath in Baradin Hold giving several people their first taste of Cataclysm raiding.
