The Garrison has four raiding teams and this is an update of their progress. We've also had a few new members join the guild just in time for Firelands, and I'd like to welcome them to TG. Team GrumpyGrumpy are officially Defenders of a Shattered World, with a clear of normal content. Nefarian proved the more difficult of the last two, while Al'Akir was taken down in a very impressive two nights of attempts. This sets Grumpy up nicely for Firelands progression in the coming weeks.
The Muffins The weekend raiding team showed that it's not all about progress and nights of wiping with a kill of Maloriak. I'm not sure of The Muffins plans for Firelands, but hopefully with some more consistent nights they can progress faster in the new instance.
Team FluffyAnother heroic kill in Magmaw, but a number of players on holiday stalled Fluffy progress, letting M&M pass TG in the rankings! This will not do and Fluffy intended to regain top spot in Firelands, even if they are competing with the other Garrison teams to do so.
Don's JohnsonsLike the other teams Don's suffered from end of tier blues, the feeling not the item rarity. With a fresh start and some new people joining hopefully Fluffy, Grumpy and The Johnsons will be competing for boss kills. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

The Garrison has four teams fighting through 10 man raids. This is an update of their progress. Team FluffyFluffy promised that they were pretty close on more than one boss, and this was proven right with two more heroic kills in quick succession. Heroic Maloriak was killed first, proving Fluffy to be Stupid, Incompetent and Disappointing Slayers of Minions. Or something like that anyway. The Twin Dragons of Bastion were also killed in a surprisingly easy encounter when compared with all three Blackrock heroic kills. Magmaw was also taken down to 35% on heroic before control on the adds was lost, so a kill is to be expected there soon as well.
Don's JohnsonsThe Johnson's combined the powers of Earth, Air, Fire and Water to successfully summon Captain Planet, while in game they performed the same task to defeat the Ascendant Council in Bastion of Twilight. With only the end bosses to go, Don's team are looking to overtake Grumpy in boss kills with Cho'gall and Nefarian next up.
Team Grumpy"Nefarian is the bane of my existence." was the only answer to a polite query about Grumpy's progress last week. Nef is probably the hardest boss of the normal tier, with a hard hitting boss, several adds and a reasonable amount of AoE damage being spread around with crackles and the like. It's hoped that with a bit more practice Grumpy with be dealing with all such things and taking down the boss soon. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

The Garrison has a Quaternary of teams (i.e. four) working through 10 man instances. Since the last update they've all triumphantly achieved new kills, so here's an update. Team GrumpyGrumpy finished their first instance last week, clearing Bastion of Twilight. Cho'gall was killed on the first full night of attempts, making Grump the second team to have killed him. A cleared Blackwing is the next priority, with the delightfully described "RNG devil" Al'Akir third.
Team FluffyBoth Maloriak and Chimaeron were looking "close" for a few weeks on heroic, but it was the three headed hydra that went down first. The killed moved TG in to first place in Dunemaul Alliance 10 man progress, and while there's quite a few Horde groups ahead of us, we plan to continue up the rankings soon.
The MuffinsMore progress by The Muffins, with a second kill in Blackwing Descent. Omnitron Defence System failed to stop the double chocolate chip power of The Garrison, and with a few kills under their belt, we expect The Muffins to continue the good results.
Don's Johnson'sThe "troublesome sonar machine" and "the beast with a Ch" were both killed by The Johnson's in the last few weeks. The team promises to at least the names of bosses they kill in the future.
As always we're looking for people who would like to join our friendly and mature guild. Please see our forum on how to apply and join in some of the raiding fun seen above. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

The proud group of mounted Garrisonians seen below came together to celebrate The Garrison reaching guild level 25. While this means the levelling adventure is over, each Garrisonite knows that there are plenty more adventures to have around Azeroth. You'll find the Garrionese around Stormwind, in instances, raids and PvP, continuing to bring maturity, humour and made up words to the World of Warcraft. Garrisonlanders, I salute you!
