It only seemed like yesterday that Team Fluffy were saving the whole of Azeroth from the evils of Deathwing. Unfortunately hanging onto the back of an insane dragon, before purging the corruption of an Old God, turned out to only be preparation for a true test. Taking on three stone dogs where most of the damage can be mitigated by 90%.

After a slightly embarrassing three "not-quite" wipes on the trash which led to frantic searches on Wowhead, the bosses themselves were fought while frantically trying to avoid the large amount of AoE on the floor. Fortunately, the AoE on the floor was soon covered by skeletons which provided suitable protection from the frost, fire and shadow patches that unceasingly spawned in just the wrong spots. So after an evening of wiping, the Stone Guardians were left shattered leaving the way open to Feng next week.

The Garrison. Who said we were old?

The Garrison has arrived on Aggramar, our new home in the world of Azeroth. The roofs of Stormwind are redder, a fifth of the dragons are bluer and the Emerald Dream is greener. Hopefully we will have picked well and can explore the new expansion in slightly more crowed confines.

For prospective members on Aggramar (or any other server for that matter), our guild charter and application form are good places to start. We are still updating some of the posts, so where it says Dunemaul, it probably means Aggramar.

Hopefully there will be plenty of Garrison success on Aggramar for me to report on the front page, so keep us bookmarked and check back regularly.

Tomorrow marks a strange day for The Garrison, as we leave Dunemaul for the realm of Aggramar. Many of us in TG have only ever played on Dunemaul, and while I for one, will always fondly remember the times we have had here, it was felt it was the right time to leave.

I hope The Garrison will go to from strength to strength on the new server, with plenty of challenges to come in the new expansion. I also hope that we will bring our unique charm, wit, humour, dashing good looks and modesty to Aggramar, providing a mature home for players on that server.

Returning players are always welcome in The Garrison. If it's been a while since you last played, and wonder what happened, either check the forums or /w someone in game. Everyone will be welcome on Aggramar, regardless of whether you are transferring or want to start a new character.

It was a special night is Stormwind last night, as Team Grumpy and friends celebrated Susanna aka Grocruel aka "The Pink Fuzz" completing his legendary Firelands staff. While it has been a little time in coming, doing runs to Firelands has allowed several newer members of The Garrison to experience the instance. Of interest to any other people wanting to get a big staff like Sus (ooer missus), it should be noted that while you can kill the bosses in a raid, pick up the embers in a raid and finish Firelands in a raid, you can't actually get the legendary itself in a raid...
