Today , I was offered a promotion to captain, which I happily accepted ( I even did the "happy dance" repeatedly!) I don't know if it is wise to bestow such power on a crazy pink tank such as myself, but time will tell I guess! I hope to be able to continue to help make The Garrison an enjoyable place for all our members, whatever their interests within the game may be, raiding, questing , instancing, unexplainable grinding of vast amounts of rep, or simply just somewhere to log on and chat. Now lets go and kill some more bosses so that we can remove this big pink power ranger from the frontpage! Susie out! |

The Garrison has three teams working through end game content. This is an update of their progress. Team FluffyFluffy has been working on Garrosh for the last few weeks, making slow progress through the hardest fight so far of the Tier. The fight is very well tuned, with the mechanics requiring careful planning, thought and execution. Over the weeks, Fluffy have been working on each of the stages, dealing with each part of the fight and seeing progress as it went from stage 1 wipes to 5% on phase 3. Finally, with absolutely no panic, screaming or "killitkillitkillitkillit" over TS, Garrosh went down, resulting a plethora of achievements, a new title, a mount and a nice cut scene.
After this we decided to have a look at our new city, which had annoyingly been invaded by a lot of Horde. Still they were obvious awed by our excellent new mounts, and with a bit of impromptu regulation from Tux, Jeri and Honey, were soon put in their place.
Garrosh isn't the Warchief, he's a very naughty boy! The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

The Garrison has arrived on Aggramar, our new home in the world of Azeroth. The roofs of Stormwind are redder, a fifth of the dragons are bluer and the Emerald Dream is greener. Hopefully we will have picked well and can explore the new expansion in slightly more crowed confines. For member of The Garrison who are returning to play Mists, see this post for details of the transfer. For prospective members on Aggramar (or any other server for that matter), our guild charter and application form are good places to start. We are still updating some of the posts, so where it says Dunemaul, it probably means Aggramar. Hopefully there will be plenty of Garrison success on Aggramar for me to report on the front page, so keep us bookmarked and check back regularly. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

It's been a while since last update but in the meanwhile The Garrison raid team was busy and cleared ToS heroic.
After few months of Nighthold farming ToS released just before summer. TG hit the new instance hard clearing normal mode on week one and moving into heroic modes. While the ever pressent Summer Vacation Boss was trying to wipe us, we pushed through the roster issues and kept on clearing boss after boss until reaching Kil'Jaeden himself. Progression was tough but steady and in a little over two weeks (4 nights) of wiping the boss died on the 5th pull that evening. With ToS cleared we are preparing to look towards Argus for new challenges while gearing up for the next raid. On a completely unrelated note, if you want to join our ranks - be sure to submit your application - now is the best time to join and get ready before next tier. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |
