I've been slacking again and not reporting on the progress of The Garrisons 10 man teams in Dragon Soul. In order to get though the huge number of pictures, I've decided to divide up the posts by Team. Here are the kills from The Muffins. The Muffins have two kills; one toasted and the other flavour combo of cat and scorpion. The Garrison's causal raiding team are making steady progress of the previous Tier with only Raggy left to go. After that they plan to start on Dragon Soul with LFR experience helping on the first few bosses. I believe Deathwing will turn out to actually be filled with cherry jam extracted by the might of The Muffins.

I have just finished part 3 of my mod guide, where I look at some of the best and most popular mods out there. The guide is currently a bit hard to read due to the new site layout, but there is a simple solution for that. You need to "/w pharazon please fix website" next time you see him in-game and the problem will quickly dissappear ;) I would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that version 1.5 of CT Raid Assist is out, so please update from the official site. If you are lvl 60 and not using it, please go and get it. It helps us all. Update: Pharazon has fixed the layout. You should now instead do "/w pharazon xxx" where xxx is replaced with one of the following: "u r0xxor", "hunters are the best", "can i have a picture of oscar?", or "I like to hear u talk" ;) |

The Garrison has four teams working though end game content at the moment. This is an update of their progress, as a number of nerfs hit Firelands. Team GrumpyIn the last week before the 25% reductions, Team Grumpy killed Majordomo Staghelm on the second night of attempts despite missing a couple of regular players. The team then had a short period of tries at Ragnaros, reaching the first transition stage. Grumpy should take down the Firelord in short order, and then start looking at some of the heroic modes. Grumpy are also looking for a new member, please see this post for details. 
Don's Johnson'sDon's team took on two new bosses in the slightly easier mode, killing Baelroc and Alysrazor. Expect more kills very soon, with just two more to go on normal content. 
Team FluffyCore of Legends had overtaken The Garrison as the top Alliance guild. This would not do, so Team Fluffy decided to kill not one, but two new bosses on heroic as Rhyolith and Baelroc were doused in cold water. Unfortunately the team then lost the camera in a game of no-limit poker meaning a lack of photographic evidence of the deeds. The MuffinsThe double chocolate cupcake team have now completed Tier 11 content, getting their members titles to proudly display all their effort. I expect to see The Muffins in Firelands very soon, getting few a few kills on the current tier. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

The Garrison has four teams working through end game content. This is a (admittedly infrequent) update of their progress. Team GrumpySince the last update, Team Grumpy has finished off Firelands chasing off Ragnaros, who claims it's only a setback.

It's been excellent to see more Garrison teams finishing off Firelands in time for 4.3 to come out. With a bit of luck we can maintain and improve progress when the Dragon Soul is released in a few weeks. Team FluffyFluffy are currently working on heroic Ragnaros, which is still proving to be the most difficult fight of the expansion. Fluffy would also like to welcome a couple of new members to the team, Syntech and Jericho. The MuffinsThe Muffins make more casual progress in Firelands, killing Shannox, Beth'tilac and Rhyolith. Casual raiding has always been an important part of The Garrison, and hopefully a weekly trip into Dragon Soul will allow Muffins to continue to make progress in the next patch. The Garrison. Patch 1.9 has gone live today. Here are some working mirrors, in case you are having trouble with the download. With a new version of WoW comes updates to mods. Below is the current status on mods and 1.9. It seems that Blizzard has changed the default, so that outdated mods are not loaded by default now (it used to ask after each patch). You will need to manually reenable this to get your mods back. If your chat is spammed full of messages related to GEM, then you have not reenabled mods as mentioned above. CT Raid Assist has already been updated. Get the latest version from here: There is a temporary fix up for the Titan Panel Honor+ problem: FlexBar has some minor scaling issues, but an update is already available: The following mods are currently broken. - Auctioneer (Tooltips overlap)
If you know of anymore mods that are broken, then please let me know, so I can add them to the list. |
