As you are all no doubt aware, last night we took Onyxia down for the first time. Congratulations to everyone on their participation. We had a raid group of 34 people, and it was our 7th attempt at the big old bird. Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 were pretty flawless. Phase 3 started with a bit of Chaos, but Mace soon grabbed her attention and kept her parked in the corner with liberal use of Fear Ward and stance dancing. It was a team effort, so congratulations to the team! Also, I think a special note should go out to Serphentos from Revelations. He kindly joined the raid group to take us through tactics and strategies (making up the 34th member). He was pretty confident in our abilities to take Onyxia down, (and probably the ONLY person who was at the beginning of the evening!) It was amazing in Phase 3, when we were DPS'ing her, and someone was calling out the health percentages. I kept expecting all hell to break loose as someone stole aggro and she came rampaging around. However, it just didnt happen, and the call went out for 5%... 4%... Execute.. Execute.. FULL DPS... 2%. 1%.... then.... Well, my ears hurt. Teamspeak lit up with shouts and yells and I can honestly say that that was the *best* experience that I have had in WoW so far. So, gratz guys. Lets move on to Majordomo and Raggie now. BWL is not far away. :) P. |

Dear Garrison
I have been sponsoring the Web Hosting and Teamspeak server for a while now and normally I wouldn't want anything in return. However, I recently started a new website and would really love some help filling it.
So if you have some time please register at http://www.smoothpic.com. Its a free image hosting site where you can share with other users and on forums.
The more users I have, the more chance I have on sponsor deals which benefits TG in the end ;)
If you have any comment ideas etc, or if you have your own website or in need of teamspeak and are willing to sponsor/advertise please let me know at
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
Cheers

After canning our shamless honor farming and giving up on points for the night we took an excursion to Azshara for a bit of dragon slaying. When at around 40% to go to our surprise and delight Iron Edge showed up. We would like to thank them for the generous contribution of honor points to help us achieve our goals. After much frost based chaos we yoinked the loot. Both the Drape of Benediction and the Puissant Cape went to our visitors in Maz's little brothers guild Methods of Madness and to finish it off Maz collected the Mature Blue Dragon Sinew. It was a long road, filled with Faceless Generals, exploding dragons, evil shaman and many dead gnomes, but Team Fluffy have conquered the Dragon Soul and eliminated the evil of Deathwing from the world. In the end the fight came down to AoE 14 minutes into the fight, but with plenty of slows and spellweave, the Destroyer was finally vanquished. This kill puts The Garrison as the only Alliance guild on Dunemaul to have competed the instance and the raiding portion of the expansion. While there are still a few kills of TG to get under their belt before Mists, hopefully heroic Raggy, Cho'gall (edit : dead already!) and Nefarian will go before we get to sample the raiding delights of Pandaria.

The Garrison has four teams running through end game content. This is an update of their progress. It's been quite a time since the last update. This is nothing to do with a lack of progress from The Garrison team, but rather my own slackness in apparently being unable to drop pictures into Flickr and write a few lines of "humorous" banter. In order to avoid this happening in the future, this post will be written as a standard boiler plate that can be adapted to any future kill. Please delete bold parts as appropriate. Team Grumpy/Fluffy/The Muffins/The Johnson's This week The Garrisons grumpiest/fluffiest/tastiest/xxxx team successfully/failed utterly to kill the latest dragon/elemental evil/tragic-character-who-you-just-know-will-be-back-next-expansion.The fight is a particularly interesting/boring one, with a lot of time spent trying to get past the varied combat mechanics/the same thing over and over three to four times. While it may have taken longer for the team to get this boss down than others, a few nights missing a healer/healer/healer set things back a bit. With some more consistent raiding/summer holidays/nights down the pub to come, it's hoped that the team will be able to press on and finish the instances/achievements/bottle of vodka before Mists of Pandaria/Emerald Dream/Return of Illidan. Random joke about gnomes/druids/page updates. | Dragon Soul | Dragon Soul HC
