Close your eyes and imagine as you will. Its the 80's, Zenghi is out on a fine sunday morning head to toe in day glow lycra. She is fully equiped with pink leg warmers and a head band (pictures available on request to the usual address). Now imagine she is made of metal, gone for autum colours and put on about 9,875 pounds, these changes will put you in our monday. However the thunderous thighs of doom walker were pushing more of a jog really. That said with very little thought and zenghis experience behind us we collected the loot first time. We invite all of dunemaul to enter BT without issue (at least for a few days) |

Tomorrow marks a strange day for The Garrison, as we leave Dunemaul for the realm of Aggramar. Many of us in TG have only ever played on Dunemaul, and while I for one, will always fondly remember the times we have had here, it was felt it was the right time to leave. I hope The Garrison will go to from strength to strength on the new server, with plenty of challenges to come in the new expansion. I also hope that we will bring our unique charm, wit, humour, dashing good looks and modesty to Aggramar, providing a mature home for players on that server.
Returning players are always welcome in The Garrison. If it's been a while since you last played, and wonder what happened, either check the forums or /w someone in game. Everyone will be welcome on Aggramar, regardless of whether you are transferring or want to start a new character. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

Although of the beaten track the garrison has wandered amongst the frogs in the garden of ZA. Lynx and eagles and bears .. oh my. The trick of course is to stay on the grey loosely cobbled road. There maybe dragon hawks but the amount of winged monkeys is at a safe minimum. Upon meeting the wizard of ZA you mill be confronted by 5 phases, the third of which is a quite unique insight into storm chasing where if your not careful you will discover you are no longer in Kansas. With any luck we will return a few times without encountering a flying moose shaped as a sofa and a wind up soldier. |

The Garrison has three teams progressing through Siege of Orgrimmar, here is an update on their progression, but in the mean time a quick recruitment announcement: Garrison is recruiting! We, as always, are looking for mature players to fill in our ranks. We are equally interested in social and raiding candidates. If you are interested in joining us - head over to the recruitment part of our forum, read up on our guild charter and fill in our application form. If you are interested in raiding - take a look at our raiding teams sticky and see which one of our many teams suit your style best. and now back to the progress update. Team Fluffy Team Fluffy after killing all the bosses during farm night, proceeded to literally plow through next part of the raid instance. With Galakras and Iron Juggernaut downed during Sunday's run, Fluffies didn't stop there and on the next raid night Dark Shamans and General Nazgrim dies as well. This puts Team Fluffy on 8/14 progression, with more bosses dead than alive before reaching Garrosh. Well done!
Team Grumpy Grumpies also managed to progress in SoO this week. With all farm content cleared the first day, second raid night was spent progressing on Galakras resulting in a very well performed kill. Afterwards it was time to go to bed but Team Grumpy decided to kill Iron Juggernaut as well and within couple of pulls the 6th boss was dead putting Team Grumpy 6/14 in regards of progression.
Don's Johnsons Dons got hit this week with the hardest boss of them all - real life. With cancelled progression night only farm content was cleared. Hopefully this changes this week and Don's will resume their progression. All the best!. On a completely unrelated note, Don's are looking for DPS willing to bolster their roster and help out with glorious SoO progression. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

It was a special night is Stormwind last night, as Team Grumpy and friends celebrated Susanna aka Grocruel aka "The Pink Fuzz" completing his legendary Firelands staff. While it has been a little time in coming, doing runs to Firelands has allowed several newer members of The Garrison to experience the instance. Of interest to any other people wanting to get a big staff like Sus (ooer missus), it should be noted that while you can kill the bosses in a raid, pick up the embers in a raid and finish Firelands in a raid, you can't actually get the legendary itself in a raid... Susanna. Who said you weren't legendary? |
