The Garrison has three teams progressing through Siege of Ogrimmar, here is an update on their progression, but in the mean time a quick recruitment announcement: Garrison is recruiting! We, as always, are looking for mature players to fill in our ranks. We are equally interested in social and raiding candidates. If you are interested in joining us - head over to the recruitment part of our forum, read up on our guild charter and fill in our application form. If you are interested in raiding - take a look at our raiding teams sticky and see which one of our many teams suit your style best. now back to your reporter in the field: Team Grumpy Team Grumpy started their quest to free the Horde of their tyrant Garrosh by quickly disposing of the first two bosses in SoO on their first day there. Third boss - Norushen - is the first DPS check of the instance and currently enrages on a bit above 10% health. Grumpies went back to the drawing board and are coming up with an insane strategy of "more dots" variety. On an absolutely unrelated note, Team Grumpy is recruiting exceptional ranged DPS interested in joining us for progression into SoO.
Team Fluffy Team Fluffy did not disappoint. They killed both first bosses as well, slightly faster than their Grumpy rivals and is progressing on Norushen as well. When I was logging out they were still there, hopefully by now they have got some rest. As soon as killshots will be delivered to our guild's scribe, pictures of glorious fluffy kills will be added to this message. Don's JohnsonsDons went into the SoO as well. Two first bosses died for them to no surprise and currently Dons are getting ready to kill Norushen. In the mean time there are some rumors in Stormwind that The Don himself is going to have a little chat with the boss himself and will introduce his own definition of "nerf bat". Understandably there are no public pictures of Don's engagement with disposing of the first two bosses. However as soon such photographs will be properly doctored produced they will be posted here. And on again unrelated note, Dons are recruiting a ranged DPS capable of delivering awesome numbers while moving out of crap on the floor. The Garrison, who said we were old. |

The Garrison has three teams working through end game content. This is an update of their progress. Team Grumpy It has been some time since Grumpy had their kill. With some roster issues, xmas break and other things the progression didn't have the desired momentum but after way too many wipes to count, the ever so crazy orc warchief, Garrosh has died. Afterwards there was much cheering and highfiving, first heirloom weapons got their owners and all that can be seen in the screenshot below.

The Grimms Grims have been stuck on Garrosh for as long as Grumpies. After Grumpy kill it took only one raid night more for Grimms to down him on the second pull of the evening. While we don't have the visuals to show you - one can only imagine the levels of nerd screams that followed Garrosh hitting the floor. Well done Grimms!
Team Fluffy With disposing Garrosh earlier, Team Fluffy has been progressing slowly on heroic modes. Currently the team is 5/14 progression with Galakras being their latest kill. The Garrison. Who said we were old? |

The Garrison has three teams progressing through Throne of Thunder, here is an update on their progression, but in the mean time a quick recruitment announcement: Garrison is recruiting! We, as always, are looking for mature players to fill in our ranks. We are equally interested in social and raiding candidates. If you are interested in joining us - head over to the recruitment part of our forum, read up on our guild charter and fill in our application form. If you are interested in raiding - take a look at our raiding teams sticky and see which one of our many teams suit your style best. and now, back to raiding news: Team Fluffysince we left off, Fluffies are plowing through T15 with a vengeance. After quickly disposing Council and Giant Turtle, Magaera was fightting back for a while but recently even she fell down to the Fluffy fury. And if that is not enough for you - just last week - the real angry bird Ji-Kun fell down and dropped some loot for the first time. All this didn't slow Fluffies down and they are now progressing on Dumuru the Forgotten.
Team GrumpyAfter Horridon, Grumpies went in and quickly disposed of Council with a great show of strategy and execution. After old trolls died next on the menu was Tortos however there things weren't as smooth as on Council, Team Grumpy was stuck there for more then one lockout but in the end with some tactical adjustments Tortos fell and cleared the way towards Magaera. Team Grumpy is currently progressing on three-headed monster and last week's wipes on the last head of the fight seem to suggest the kill is imminent.
Don's JohnsonsHorridon was merely a setback! After some hardcore progression Dons made the big dino an offer it couldn't refuse and the big bad monster fell down. Now on an endorphin high Johnsons are progressing on Council - hoping to score a kill in this reset.

The Garrison is please to announce the wedding of two of its members. This coming July on the 11th of the month at about 3 in the afternoon (a time designed presumably to give a buffer zone in order to safe guard against the entire congregation skipping it due to hangovers) Gerben "Paws" Wentink and Cathy "Hotpants" van Nuland will tie the knot. Everyone enjoys finishing a questline with an epic ring and some well tailors items. It took some in the guild less than a week to level 60->70 which is rewarding. It takes most ppl 10 days of game to reach 60 in the first place which was an epic journey better than any done before. Its taken Paws and Hotpants 15yrs to get the wedding organized, we hope that the happiness scales appropriately. TG is not so much losing a day of play as it is gaining a frontpage article reminding us this is not just a game. Best wishes from all at TG for your happy day. |

If you are interested in raiding - take a look at our raiding teams sticky and see which one of our many teams suit your style best. Team Grumpy is looking for a warlock - if you are a mature individual who likes to top the meters while having fun (and while moving out of puddles of bad) then Grumpies need you! Doesn't matter if you are not properly grumpy already - an evening with us will fix that. We are looking for someone to join our core team, contribute to strategies and have fun while bosses go down. If you are such a person please contact anyone from Team Grumpy or The Garrison in general for more details. and now back to the progress update. Team FluffyOur top progression team is on the roll. After clearing all the 13 bosses Fluffies are progressing on Garrosh and apparently the big boss is almost ready to die. Today is another evening of fluffy progression - will it mark the fall of Garrosh? Team Grumpy Team Grumpy has been steadily progressing through SoO. After quickly disposing of Spoils of Pandaria, Thok is the new progression boss. With an evening spent on wiping to the big guy the biggest challenge is getting to 11th boss of the instance in a timely fashion within team's 6h/week schedule. But have no fear - the big dino will die soon enough.
Don's Johnsons Sadly over the last couple of weeks one of our raiding teams disbanded. After long years of service Dons retired and went along to pursue other careers. There is absolutely no confirmation about Don's asset being repossessed by the authorities... The Grimms Last but definitely not least - The Garrison has a new raiding team! Build upon the remaining roster of Dons, Grimms are eagerly progressing through SoO currently fighting Spoils. After blazing through previous bosses, only high quality screenshots are a reminder that you don't want to stand in the way of Grimms.
