Another day, another night of battle in the Coliseum. Earlier this reset the wonderful PVE/P(???) encounter that is the Faction Champions had us beat, so we came back to knock it down tonight and after a few wipes we emerged victorious. I have to say well done to everyone, as this fight has been tricky for us, mostly because of it's strange hybrid PVE-PVP nature, though also because of the fact that there are not that many active PVPers in our raider ranks. In the end we seemed to get a good grip on all our teamwork and CC managment.
Tasty loot was to be had and enjoyed by one and all: Moving on we played with the twins and dropped them pretty fast. Special gratz go out from me to Vipeeeeeeer for looting the amazing belt that dropped (booo)!
So with two hours to spare after killing the newly dubbed 'farm' content, we had time to take a look at Blizzard's recycled (well it's not like the other bosses in here are recycled... erm... wait...) Azjol'Nerub boss, Anooob'Arak. This guy has been killed a couple of times by our ten man groups already, so we had some experience of the quite straightforward fight already. Had a few good attempts here, but definately need to tune up some things to see this guy drop in 25 man. Specifically I'm gonna publically blame the healers for not healing enough and the tanks for dropping like flies, otherwise we would have certainly wtfpwnt this fugly spider. When it emerged that our final attempt of the evening was just not good enough I think Stufur had the right idea when he opted on a sneaky exit!

Next time, spidey...! World of Logs Combatlog Parse: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/7nb7JHCFjbsdIYh8/sum/damageDone/ |

The word on the street was that the hardy raider folk of The Garrison had bested the twins, famed for their bewildering use of orb warfare. Thus no sooner than you can say screenie or it didn't happen did we go back to acquire such a trophy. But what's this you cry? There is but one fallen Valkyr in said screenie! This is true, so as the loot is spread between the two, a corpse despawned before the shutter could snap! But one corpse is proof enough; for there can be no light... without the dark! Which flavor orb do you prefer? The light variety seemed very effective against the darkbane, and the dark worked well on the lightbane; but be prepared to mix things up when the twins decide to play! With such things in mind we danced the orb dance, penetrated the shield, interrupted the heal and absorbed the aoe.
Huzzahs and well done to one and all. Next time we shall go deeper, where rumor tells of an old Nerubian nemesis, risen from death by Arthas... |

After having some fun times with the Beasts and some red bloke at the Coliseum, we decided to pwn the Horde in a gladatorial brawl. We interrupted thier heals, nuked their DPS, dodged some whirlwind and took their phats (huzzahs)! Thrall will have to go back to the drawing board and tune the AI a little methinks. |

After struggling for a while to fill a raid, utilising many off-specs to reach the magic 25, I would not have foreseen having two new pictures to adorn the front page with today. How wrong I was however; we had an amazing raid which saw 6 bosses die in total , including first kills of Ignis and Auriaya. More to come soon!! |

First the intrepid Raiders went back to take another look at The Coliseum after hearing a rumour that Grand Warlock Wilfred Fizzlebang had blown it again and summoned the demon Jaraxxus instead of a doomguard. Sure enough they found the towering Eredar Lord in no mood to sit around and sing Kumbaya. He started on his own, but seeing the look on the face of the raiders soon thought better of it and whistled up some succubi and infernals to join the party, but it didnt do him any good, after a mighty struggle he went up in smoke. Inspired by their success The Garrisons finest decided to pay a visit to Vezax, he thought they would depair, but never mind how much he thrashed or crashed, the hardy raiders won through. |
